Q: Do I need to replace or repair my windshield?
A: If the damage to the windshield is smaller than a quarter there is a good chance it can be repaired. However, anything over that or if there are more than 3 separate chips in the glass then a replacement is advised. If you are unsure, then feel free to let us know and we can take a look and provide an accurate assessment of the damage and remedies we recommend.
Q: What is the cost for a replacement or repair?
A: For any repair to the windshield, we charge $50 for the first repair and $10 for any additional repair up to a maximum of three or a total of $70. When it comes to a replacement each vehicle is unique and has many deciding factors regarding cost. Our goal is to give you a fair and accurate assessment and price for the replacement of your auto glass.
Q: How long does a repair or replacement take?
A: Our repair process usually only takes 5-10 minutes. The standard windshield replacement takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on the complexity of the vehicle.
Q: Do I need to do anything to care for the new windshield after the repair?
A: We would advise you to not drive the vehicle for about 30 minutes after a replacement. We also highly recommend avoiding any high-pressure car washes to the windshield for at least 24 hours after any replacement. Also, we will leave a few strips of tape on the windshield that should be left on for that same 24-hour period.
Q: Are you able to work with my insurance company?
A: We work with all insurance companies that carry a glass claim policy for their insurance holders. We will work with your company from start to finish and keep you in the loop every step of the way.
Q: Do you offer any guarantee or warranty?
A: We guarantee our work comes with the utmost professional and industry-standard practices to ensure a proper and lasting job is completed every time. We also warranty our work for 6 months against any installation-based mishaps at no cost to you, after an investigation takes place.
